GEO Checker is a free SEO / AI-visibility tool. This policy explains what data we handle.

Checks you run

When you submit a URL, our servers fetch that public page and related files (robots.txt, llms.txt) to produce the report. We do not need an account for this. Standard hosting logs (e.g. IP address, request time) may be kept by our hosting provider, Netlify, for operations and security.

Google sign-in

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture (scopes: openid, email, profile). We use them solely to identify your account and show who is signed in. We do not access your contacts, Gmail, Drive or any other Google data, and we do not post anything on your behalf. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

We use a signed, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie to protect sign-in against CSRF. No advertising cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Data is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) only to operate the service.

Retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Email yuweijiuba+geochecker@gmail.com to request access to or deletion of your data; you can also revoke access anytime at Google Account permissions.
